3M™ DBI-SALA® Salalift™ II Winches

Manually operated winch with a 6:1 gear ratio and average lifting speed of 12 3/4 ft/min. Available with galvanized or stainless steel cable and includes carrying bag. Equipped with a quick-mount bracket that mates with a bracket on all DBI-SALA support structures, allowing easy attachment/detachment of unit. Free-wheel mode allows drum to rotate and cable to pay-out freely as attached worker descends or moves about (handle remains stationary). Free-wheel mode has a built-in overspeed brake with energy absorbing capacity which provides secondary fall protection and added security. Built-in overload clutch automatically slips to prevent severe overloading or damage and helps prevent injury to entangled personnel during raising operations. Housing cover constructed from a durable medium-density polyethylene with ergonomic carrying handle. Housing has anodized aluminum side plates, zinc-plated gears and shafts, stainless steel springs, and aluminum drum for durability and corrosion resistance. Swiveling self-locking snap hook with impact indicator provides secure connection to the load and prevents the cable from twisting. Reserve lifeline system allows brake to activate and absorb energy if fall occurs at the end of the lifeline travel. Meets or exceeds all applicable OSHA regulations and ANSI standards.
