Automatic calibration station and data download center for the MultiPro gas detector. Just place detector in dock; unit identifies instrument and performs a quick battery test before moving on to a bump test. If detector fails bump test, unit automatically performs full span calibration of detector without further intervention from user. Once instrument passes bump test or span calibration, unit automatically tests audible, visible and vibrating (if available) alarms before downloading instrument data. Once all tests are passed, dock will show "Ready" on display, notifying user that detector is ready to go. Automatic tests include instrument identification, battery, alarm, bump test, calibration (if necessary), record keeping and ready/fault indication. Docks can operate as independent calibration stations or be connected to PC via USB port for enhanced control over calibrations and data acquisition.
